Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina
The purpose of the project was to revitalize the existing
site and provide additional features and improvements to support the activities associated with the facility.
The master plan was adopted in the fall of 2008 with construction
completed in the spring of 2009. The plan improvements responded to the recent widening of the adjacent Moye Blvd.
by replacing the existing azalea hedge with a decorative brick & iron fence, entry sign walls and assorted low evergreen
shrubs, ground cover & annuals.
Additional features include a gazebo, Ronald
Bench, connecting brick walks, walkway & accent lighting and a new irrigation system and landscaping.

to whomever is in my car! Much appreciation to all for their time and dedication to this project!"

UNC-Greensboro / West Side Landscaping (Kaplan Commons)
The EUC West Side Landscaping began as a preliminary concept
study through an Annual Services Agreement with the University. The purpose was to define the scope of improvements envisioned
by the Donor and UNC-G to visually define & link the west lawn of the University Center
with the Campus.
Four alternative concept schemes were developed for consideration
and refinement.
Scheme C was refined and approved for design and implementation as
a formal construction project (i.e. over $300,000.00). The project was bid ahead of the scheduled milestone at a cost approximately
$82,500 below the estimated $384,500 budget target.
Construction was
completed as scheduled for public dedication in August 2008.
